Bartram's Garden Dock
. . . . .

The City of Philadelphia Capital Program Office selected Urban to design modifications to Bartram's Garden Dock on the Schuylkill River. The goal is to develop a new berthing facility to accommodate waterborne tourist traffic. Historic Bartram's Garden is located on the west bank of the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania between the Passyunk Avenue Bridge and the Grays Ferry Avenue Bridge. Historic Bartram's Garden was once the home of botanist John Bartram and his family some 250 years ago. Today the site, which attracts thousands of visitors each year, includes the furnished Bartram's House, botanical garden, meadow, parkland and a wetland.
