Urban Engineers, Inc. to design $125 million highway upgrade near Williamsport, Pa.

Urban has been selected by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, District 3-0 to undertake preliminary engineering, environmental studies, final design, and engineering services during construction on an eight-mile section of State Route 220 in Lycoming County between Williamsport and Jersey Shore.

The project involves studies to relocate or upgrade the highway to interstate standards and to upgrade the existing interchange of State Route 2014 (Fourth Street) and State Route 220 at the eastern limit of the project from a partial to a full interchange. The total estimated project construction cost is $125 million.
