Urban Engineers, Inc. will lead a team composed of Urban, A.D. Marble & Company, and GTS Technologies, Inc. to undertake open-end assignments in the eight-county District 8-0 area in south-central Pennsylvania. PennDOT selected Urban at its March 14, 2001 Consultant Selection Committee meeting.
The work is expected to include providing designs including construction plans, specifications, and estimates associated with environmental services, preliminary engineering, bridge replacement and rehabilitation, 3R-betterment projects, grade crossings, minor capital improvement projects, signal and traffic projects, minor location studies.
A.D. Marble will be responsible for environmental services. GTS Technologies, Inc. will provide all field surveys, all geotechnical investigations and geological services, as well as plot topography and cross-sections.
