Urban Wins New Term as General Engineering Consultant for Atlantic City International Airport

The South Jersey Transportation Authority has awarded Urban a second contract for general engineering services at Atlantic City International Airport. This one year contract (with a second year option) will be similar to and follow Urban's existing 18 month contract under which Urban has advised the Authority on development and planning issues, reviewed consultant construction documents, and tracked projected and current work. Urban's tasks have included the following:
  • Airport Layout Plan Update
  • Aircraft De-icing Facility Coordination and Reviews
  • Runway 13-31 Rehabilitation Coordination and Reviews
  • New Holdroom Construction Documents
  • Terminal Building - Two New Loading Bridges
  • Public Address System Upgrade
  • Parking Lot/Garage Construction Coordination and Reviews
  • Loading Bridge Damage Assessment and Coordination
  • Airport Gift Shop Expansion Design
  • Terminal Fire Alarm System Study
  • Amelia Earhart Boulevard Rehabilitation (Airport Access Road)
