Eugene K. Blasko, PE has joined Urban Engineers, Inc.

After a 33-year career with the New Jersey Department of Transportation, Eugene K. Blasko, PE has joined Urban Engineers, Inc. in Philadelphia as a senior project manager for construction management.

For the last 10 years, Mr. Blasko has been Regional Construction Engineer administering multi-million dollar highway and bridge construction projects in NJDOT's Southern and Central Regions. He previously held such positions as Director, Operations Engineering in the Division of Construction and Maintenance; Regional Construction Engineer in the Bureau of Consultant Construction Engineering Unit; and Assistant Chief Engineer in the Division of Construction and Maintenance.

A registered professional engineer in New Jersey, Mr. Blasko holds a juris doctor degree from Rutgers University and master's and bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Drexel University. He is past president and a current member of the Southern New Jersey Section of the American Society of Highway Engineers and a member of the Transportation Research Board Panel on the Resolution of Construction Claims.
