James Cook to Head Urban Engineers, Inc.'s Baltimore Office . . . . . . . . . . .			James Cook has joined Urban Engineers, Inc. as vice president and director of operations in the firm's Baltimore, Maryland office. Cook has 42 years of experience in construction management and contract administration for highway, bridge, and rail projects. In his new position, Cook will be responsible for managing the Baltimore office and developing business opportunities. A 1965 graduate of the University of Maryland, Cook was previously employed as a project manager on a Project Management Oversight assistance contract with the Federal Transit Administration. Prior experience was with the Maryland Transit Administration as deputy project manager for the central light rail transit line and claims engineer in the MTA construction department. For 19 years, he served as chief, administrative services for the Interstate Division for Baltimore City; an agency of the State Highway Administration.
