Joseph P. McAtee, P.E. named CMAA Fellow

The Construction Management Association of America has elected Joseph P. McAtee, P.E. to its College of Fellows. McAtee, who is Executive Vice President of Urban Engineers, Inc., is one of only 29 individuals in the United States who have been so honored with the “CMAA Fellow” designation. A CMAA Fellow is a practitioner who has made a lasting contribution to the good of the profession and to the industry. The Fellow designation is the highest honor a Construction Management practitioner can obtain.

In announcing the achievement, Christine Keville, CMAA’s national president, cited McAtee’s “tireless efforts on behalf of CMAA.”

The CMAA College of Fellows is a diverse community of astute leaders who address the strategic issues facing the construction management industry and profession and identify and develop future leaders.

McAtee joined Urban Engineers, Inc. in 1967 and became one of the principal owners of the firm in 1993. He is a registered professional engineer in nine states and a professional land surveyor. He earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Drexel University.
