| Urban participates in "Philadelphia Partnership Build" |

Urban Engineers is proud to participate in the first Philadelphia Partnership Build, a collaboration of the Delaware Valley Habitat for Humanity, the Building Industry Association of Philadelphia (BIA), and the Philadelphia Building and Construction Trades Council. The Build aims to completely gut and rehab a home at 4269 Leidy Avenue in the Parkside section of Philadelphia. Demolition begins right after Labor Day, with the Partnership’s "building blitz” scheduled to complete renovations within two weeks.
Urban provided pro bono asbestos consulting services, one of the up-front tasks that needed to be completed so that the dilapidated property could be gutted and rebuilt. We are pleased to assist in this exciting project, which demonstrates the power of working together for the good of our city and our neighbors.
Urban encourages donations to this worthy cause. Your tax deductible contribution will ensure that our partnership is a success; checks should be made payable to Delaware Valley Habitat for Humanity and mailed to BIA, 1735 Market Street, Suite A, P.O. Box 432, Philadelphia PA 19103. Our thanks in advance for your support.
Habitat for Humanity, a non-profit builder, constructs homes for sale to low income families.
The Habitat has built over 100 homes in the Philadelphia area and has ambitious plans to boost production in the future.
