Marvin Waxman Consulting Engineers (MWCE) of Glenside, Pennsylvania, a 12-person consulting engineering firm which specializes in the design of building systems for residential, institutional and industrial facilities, has joined forces with Urban.

Since its inception in 1978, MWCE has designed building systems for a wide array of facilities, both new construction and historic renovations and restorations. Projects include office buildings; educational and medical facilities; libraries; museums; administrative buildings; religious institutions; shopping centers; recreational, arts and entertainment facilities; and multi-family residential, including high-rise housing.

MWCE has worked with international, national and regionally-based clients including residential and mixed use real estate developers, and architectural firms; many award-winning and internationally renowned. Institutional clients include the University of Pennsylvania, University of Virginia, Cornell University, University of Delaware, Delaware Valley College and Cabrini College.

As a subsidiary of Urban, MWCE will continue to operate from offices in Glenside, Pennsylvania and will also maintain a Center City Philadelphia office at Urban’s headquarters.
