Urban has been selected for a three-year assignment to provide On Call Construction Claims Services to the Connecticut Department of Transportation.

Under this agreement, Urban will assist ConnDOT in the prompt and efficient resolution of claims and disputes by providing expert witnesses in a multitude of technical areas. Urban will also help prepare and/or defend claims, develop claim prevention and management plans, assist counsel with litigation strategies, draft and analyze interrogatories or depositions, and prepare exhibits and expert reports.

Urban's claims and litigation support services will include:

Alternative dispute resolution
Bid document and contract reviews
Change order evaluations
Construction accident investigations
Construction and repair cost estimates
Primavera CPM schedule/delay analysis
Preparation of trial exhibits and expert reports
Property damage assessments, condition surveys and site inspections
Providing qualified expert witnesses
Risk assessment and management plans
Training and seminars
