Cape May County, New Jersey has awarded Urban a contract to design improvements to an area whose expected limits are Bay Avenue from 34th Street to 35th Street and 35th Street from Bay Avenue to West Avenue in the City of Ocean City.

The objectives of the project are:

- Increase the capacity of the associated drainage systems and raise the existing roadway
elevation to address the flooding problem.

- Accommodate the removal of standing water from their areas of responsibility
within six hours. This will be accomplished by improving the two existing drainage systems that service the project area and adding a third system as provided by Acme Markets.

- Anticipate upgrading both existing outfalls and installing tide flex valves and conventional
concrete outfalls.
