Urban to teach project management to FTA grantees and staff |
Urban has been awarded a three-year contract by the National Transit Institute at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, to revise and deliver an existing two and one-half day training course entitled "Management of Transit Construction Projects." The course is designed to assist grantees of the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) as well as FTA staff, in preparing and implementing a project management plan and managing capital investment projects. It will serve to train grantees with major capital projects who are required to implement project management plans and to inform grantees with smaller capital projects of the project management process.
Completion of the three-year contract will mark 10 consecutive years that Urban's project manager Michael E. Radbill, PE, AIC, CPC, has taught the course.
