Michael E. Radbill joins Urban as vice president and practice leader


Michael E. Radbill, PE, AIC, CPC has joined Urban Engineers, Inc. as vice president and practice leader for Urban’s National Construction Consulting Practice, which includes construction claims avoidance and analysis, constructability reviews, contract and specification drafting and review, project management training, and partnering facilitation.

Radbill, who has over 30 years of experience in the construction and engineering consulting professions, also served as an officer in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for 28 years (Active and Reserves). His areas of expertise include construction management and inspection, critical path method scheduling, cost analysis, training, construction claims avoidance and analysis, arbitration, expert testimony, partnering facilitation, and drafting contracts and specifications.

A registered professional engineer in eight states and Puerto Rico, Radbill is certified as an advanced metric specialist by the U.S. Metric Association, a certified construction documents technologist by the Construction Specifications Institute, and a certified professional constructor by the American Institute of Constructors. Radbill is also on the panel of neutrals of the American Arbitration Association and has served as an arbitrator on both large complex and fast track cases.

Radbill holds a master’s degree in regional planning from the Pennsylvania State University and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Clarkson University.
