Edward M. D'Alba, PE honored as a Master of the Infrastructure |

As part of the PENJERDEL Council’s 50th anniversary celebration, Urban’s president Edward M. D’Alba and 13 other business and civic leaders were honored as “Masters of the Infrastructure.”
According to Bobbie Gohn, PENJERDEL chairman, “In architecture and design, civil engineering and planning, real estate development, education, health care, aviation, shipping, and water supply, the infrastructure of the Delaware Valley has been bettered immensely through the efforts of our Masters.”
D’Alba was cited for enthusiasm and his energy. Said the selection committee “There is no greater advocate for the built environmental than Ed D’Alba . . .Ed is as unwavering voice of commitment, reason, and support for the regional quality of life.”
The membership of the PENJERDEL Council is composed of governments, businesses and institutions and is dedicated to helping to “create the highest possible quality of life and the most competitive economy for the Philadelphia Region.”
The awards were presented on November 3, 2005 at the Crystal Tea Room of the Wanamaker Building in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
