Urban’s MEP subsidiary, Marvin Waxman Consulting Engineers, Inc. has been awarded a design contract by ShoP Architects of New York, NY to provide MEP services in connection with the design of Arboretum Place, a 600 unit, multi-family rental project to be built in Washington, DC.

MWCE’s services include complete documentation, drawings and specifications for providing competitive bid purpose for the HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical Systems.

The scope of work includes code review and coordination with local officials, evaluation of alternative mechanical and electrical systems, fire suppression, parking area lighting, site lighting, emergency power system, and construction administration services.
