Eight promoted to vice president

Edward M. D’Alba has announced the promotion of eight Urban employees to the post of vice president: Bernard Carolan, Kenneth R. Fulmer, Christopher G. Gubeno, Bruce M. Mundorf, Ahmad Nadeem, Alan Pizzi, Victor R.  Simuoli, and Michael P. Wetherell

Bernard Carolan, CPA – Mr. Carolan joined Urban in 1994 and returned to Urban in 2001 after a four year absence. He will continue in his role as controller. Mr. Carolan holds a master’s degree in accounting and finance from University College Galway, Ireland and a bachelor’s degree in business studies from Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland.

Kenneth R. Fulmer, PE – Mr. Fulmer, who joined Urban in 1992, will assume the position of deputy director of the New Jersey, Maryland, DC, New York, and Connecticut Division of the firm’s construction management group.  He is a graduate of Drexel University with a master’s degree in engineering management and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.  He has 18 years of diversified experience in construction management, field inspection and scheduling.

Christopher G. Gubeno, PE – Mr. Gubeno,  who joined Urban in 1993, serves as deputy practice leader for Urban’s aviation practice.  He has 15 years of experience on aviation design and construction projects for airports ranging in size from general aviation to air carrier airports such as Philadelphia International and Dulles International. Mr. Gubeno is a registered professional engineer in three states and a systems science and engineering graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.

Bruce M. Mundorf, Esq. – Mr. Mundorf, who joined Urban in 1990, serves as the firm’s general counsel.  He is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States, United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, Federal District Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania, the Supreme Court of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and the Supreme Court of New Jersey (Limited License for In-House Counsel). He earned his Juris Doctor from Widener University (Delaware Law School), and bachelor’s degree from Lock Haven State College.
