Urban selected for major PENNDOT project in Montgomery County |

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation has selected Urban to provide the engineering, environmental, and management services for the US 422 River Crossing Projects. The proposed improvements include the modernization of the US 422/PA 23 Interchange with the relocation of North Gulph Road, reconstruction of the US 422/PA 363 Interchange to create a full movement interchange, and widening US 422, including the bridge over the Schuylkill River. One of the largest contracts in the PENNDOT budget, these improvements are needed to relieve congestion in the US 422 corridor.
