South Jersey Transportation Planning Organization Board picks Urban |

Urban was recently awarded the Commissioner's Pike (CR 581) Phase III Scoping Project by the South Jersey Transportation Planning Organization (SJTPO).
Located in Alloway Township, Salem County, NJ, this project will include performing the scoping services needed to rehabilitate, reconstruct, and improve 3.5 miles of Commissioner’s Pike between Woodstown Road and Watson Mill Road.
Among the problems to be addressed are the deteriorated roadway, inadequate shoulders, and the numerous sight-distance problems near acute angle intersections, farm service roads, driveways, and a high number of accidents.
Urban has been tasked with developing and building support for an Initially Preferred Alternative in addition to completing the environmental documents needed to carry this project through final design.
The project is expected to commence in September.
