The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation has selected an Urban-led team for construction management of the US 202, Section 300 project. The $165 million project involves widening and reconstructing a 6.3-mile section of US 202 in Chester County. Section 300 will complete the rehabilitation of US 202 between the recently constructed Section 400 to the north and the Exton Bypass to the south.

The current four-lane limited access expressway, a key component of the area’s regional network, will be widened to six lanes with a separate 2,100 foot-long collector-distributor road designed to facilitate ramp movements in the Route 29 interchange area.

In 2004, Urban completed construction management of Section 400, which involved the widening and reconstructing of five miles of US 202 immediately north of Section 300.
