Ticket to Munich

Urban’s Jon D’Alba and his three boat mates recently qualified for the 2007 International Federation of Rowing Associations (FISA) World Rowing Championships.                                                       

A member of the Highways Department, D’Alba and his Lightweight Quad mates, Dan Urevick-Ackelsburg, Cody Lowry and Sam Saylor, will represent the United States in the World Championships Munich, Germany.

The crew punched its ticket to Munich by covering 2,000 meters (2,128 yards) in less than six minutes and one second.  The crew achieved this goal with 0.36 seconds to spare.
