Urban Earns Key Transit Victory



Urban Engineers was selected by New Jersey Transit to provide construction management services for the Metropark Station Platform Reconstruction Project.

This important assignment could begin as soon as the end of February with construction costs in excess of $29 million.

Constructed in 1971, Metropark Station has grown to one of the busiest stations on the Northeast Corridor in New Jersey, serving some seven million patrons per year.  

Urban’s scope of services includes development of management procedures, monitoring of construction activities, coordination and tracking of force account support work and protection,  public relations and overall contract administration.
