IEEE Recognizes Urban Engineers of New York, P.C.

The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc. (IEEE) Member and Geographic Activities Board selected Urban as a recipient of the 2008 Supporting Friend of IEEE Member and Geographic Activities Award.

Nominated by Amelie Gong, the award was established to recognize the organizations or divisions of organizations that encourage and support IEEE activities and/or volunteerism through its practices.

Providing its meeting facilities and other resources for IEEE meetings and functions
Providing support as a function of corporate participation in IEEE events
